About us

Spain Passion was born from a simple but powerful idea: art only truly lives when it is shared.
We exist to connect contemporary artists with new audiences, meaningful contexts, and real opportunities for visibility and collection.

We work as curators, cultural mediators, and project producers. Our focus is on creating bridges — between Spain and the world, between artists and institutions, between creativity and the people who are moved by it.

Beyond curation, we also take care of what makes projects possible: logistics, transport, documentation, and coordination with galleries, museums, and private collectors. We accompany artists and clients throughout the whole process — from concept to installation — so that art can travel safely and reach the right place and audience.

Hi there!
I’m Elena Magdalena Filote
Co-founder of Spain Passion

This project was born out of love — for art and for people. It grows from our capacity to imagine, to transform reality through creativity, and to bring beauty and meaning into everyday life.

My work focuses on people: artists, partners, institutions, and collectors. I oversee relationships, logistics, and project follow-up, ensuring that ideas become concrete, well-executed realities. For me, art is also care — attention to detail, empathy, and precision so that each work arrives where it belongs and is experienced fully.

Our Curatorial Committee

Spain Passion is guided by a curatorial committee that works collectively. We do not build the project around individual names, but around a shared way of thinking and making decisions: careful, ethical and human.
The committee brings together experience from different parts of the contemporary art field — curatorial practice, artistic creation, criticism, education, institutional collaboration and international circulation of artworks. This diversity allows us to look at each project from multiple perspectives and to act with responsibility toward artists and audiences alike.
We believe that contemporary art needs time and attention. Each conversation, each selection and each invitation grows from dialogue, not from automatic criteria. We value listening — to the work, to the artist and to the context in which that work will live.

Trust and long-term vision
Spain Passion is intentionally small in size and wide in outlook. We prefer close relationships, direct communication and long-term collaboration built on mutual trust. Artists, institutions and partners know who is on the other side and feel accompanied throughout the process.
The composition of the committee may change over time — and that is part of its vitality. New collaborators and advisors join as the project grows. What does not change is our foundation: respect for artistic practice, intellectual rigor, and the conviction that art contributes real value to society.
We work with one clear principle: the people and the works come first. Everything else is organised around that core.

A Careful and Professional Approach
Professional Standards, Human Relationships

We work with professional standards that cover every stage of an artwork’s journey. Our partners include specialised fine-art shippers, customs agents and insurance companies, ensuring that transport, documentation and risk coverage are handled with precision and transparency.

At the same time, relationships remain at the centre of our practice. We value clear communication, realistic expectations and honest dialogue with artists, galleries, collectors, institutions and insurers. For us, professionalism and human warmth belong together: care for the artwork is also care for the people around it.

Logistics & Insurance Partners

We work with standard international contracts and documentation upon request.
